Collection: G.R.O.W. PH

G.R.O.W. is created to address poverty,  the lack of job skills, and livelihood opportunities for women at the relocation village in Bulacan, Philippines. These women used to work and live in the slums at Manila where garbage scavenging and making charcoals were the main source of income.

G.R.O.W. focuses on empowering women so that they can generate their own income and become socially and economically empowered.

YOUR SUPPORT AND PURCHASE EMPOWERS WOMEN IN POVERTY

Women of G.R.O.W.

Project PEARLS created and launched a livelihood program to give resources and opportunities to women living at the relocation village in Bulacan.  These women are mothers, grandmothers, sisters of Project PEARLS scholars.  In 2013, the Philippine government relocated their slum community of Ulingan at Tondo, Manila to Bulacan.  Housing was provided but no source of livelihood or income were introduced.

Thus, these families are hungrier in Bulacan than they were in Tondo.

With your support and generosity, we are hoping to sustain and grow this livelihood program.
